HUDSON VALLEY WINE & FOOD FEST

This day trip has been so popular we decided to make it an annual event.
Typically we visit three different wineries for custom tours and tastings. But on Sept 11th we’re going to visit the Dutchess County Fairgrounds where there will be many exhibitors featuring dozens and dozens of wines and gourmet foods from the beautiful and bountiful Hudson Valley. You can also shop for arts, crafts and home accessories. And rather than having group tours, you’ll be on your own to wander, taste, drink, shop and learn on your own—all in all, this promises to be a very “fun” getaway (and of course you’ll be leaving the driving to us!).
There will also be cooking demonstrations, live music, and wine seminars. You’ll get a glass and can sample from hundreds of wine offerings – what better way to wind down the summer after Labor Day.
Our air-conditioned bus will depart from New York’s East Side on 44th Street and Third Avenue in midtown Manhattan and take you straight to the gate. And our moderate price includes transportation, admission to the “Fest”, unlimited wine (but please don’t overdo it), cooking demos plus some samples of gourmet food items, and an opportunity to meet fellow wine lovers. Lunch is not included but additional food can be purchased at the fair grounds if you get hungry.
You can purchase wine at the festival and pick it up at a pre-arranged location when we leave (so you don’t have to carry it around with you). And many of you know from our Fall harvest trips that there are many flavorful Hudson Valley wines.
